Totally Vein was the first practice in the Omaha metro area to have a physician that completed the requirements for and passed the examination of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine–the organization dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of vein problems.

Specialty Interest

Many physicians and surgeons are trained in the basics of varicose vein treatment. As in many fields, individuals specializing in a specific area often are able to offer more experience and options in diagnosis and treatment than those who treat only occasional patients.

Experience

Our providers at Totally Vein have extensive experience diagnosing and treating venous disease. Our providers are active members of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society, an organization dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of venous problems. Our team dedicates the entirety of their time and interest in the treatment of vein problems. We have performed thousands of Venefit™ (VNUS Closure®) procedures.

Certification and Training

Dr. Torpy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, and is a Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation. He is a member of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society – the largest phlebology society in the United States.

Dr. Zadalis is Board Certified in General Surgery and Certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society.

Jacqueline Torpy, RN BSN directs the VeinWave™ procedures with specialized training in the U.K. from the Veinwave™ technology inventor. She also performs sclerotherapy and has received specialized training in Arizona and Chicago.

Ric Wyrens, RRT, RVT has over 25 years of vascular ultrasound experience performing all initial and follow-up ultrasounds for legs.

Angela Mensen, RN is a certified registered nurse with significant surgical experience.

Robin Zellers, RVT, RDMS is a registered vascular technologist and registered diagnostic medical sonographer with over 30 years of ultrasound experience.
